Not sure if it was mentioned in an earlier topic, but LU will be participating in ESPN's 24-hours of basketball tipoff thing again (like they did last year vs. UNCA)...this time it will be in the Vines @ 10:00 am when Clemson comes to town:

Hopefully it being early in the season effects them more than it does us.

If people can't get up for a game against a normally good ACC team, there there are some issues...

10am here is not early haha. we all (on campus people) have to be up before that on a normal convo day so nothing changes. and plus we won't get the hangovers most schools deal with so thats another positive thing to help pack out the vines

Jerry Jr. - I know you read this board - "Make the game a mandatory event:) No convo Monday and have it on Tuesday - have Dwayne give a sermon at half:)
Just make sure I get a seat...

Yeah...And get all high schools to cancel school so I can stay at home in front of my tv watching Liberty win.

you think 10 am is early? try this on for size
Details can sometimes symbolize sweeping trends. Like this one: ESPN formally announces today that on Nov. 17, its live men's NCAA basketball will include a Monmouth-St. Peter's game in New Jersey at 6 a.m. ET, followed by Drexel at Niagara at 8 a.m. ET.

I'm going to buy a group and have my whole office attend. What a cool team building experience and that way I won't feel bad when I'm at the game and everyone else is working;)

Can't speak for all schools, but Tuesday morning hangovers were pretty rare at UNC-A.
At least during the winter months.

I may come as a fan for this one. This takes a game from my schedule but I am glad for the exposure for your team and our school.

I'm hoping the Chancellor steps in and removes your choice for you, and cancels that class (and all classes at that time, for that matter.)

I don't think you are going to catch Clemson sleeping on this game like they did last year and they are loaded. May end up being the 2nd or 3rd best team in the ACC. Should be a good game and may be one of the best teams to ever come to the Vines. Who is the highest rated team to ever play in the Vines?
