Team STAT's comeback was anchored by Dominique Jones. The Sunshine State guard is one of the bigger sleepers in the Southeast. The 6-foot-4 scored 25 points in the defeat and showed off a game that could catch on with a high-major program.

Does anyone else find it ironic that we already have a Dominique Jones on the team? Zach Jones' sun is on the roster. Our Nique is not 6-4 though. Could be really confusing. I thought coaching triplets was tough.

Dominique had a big summer and the offers have come rolling in as a result from Colorado, George Washington, Penn state, Pitt and Fresno State. In fact, he's planning on official visits to the last two. But apparently he is leaning heavily on heading to USF.

In case you were wondering, he committed to South Florida.

That's a pretty good choice. They're tough at home.

This kid went off for South Florida tonight. He was freshman of the year in the Big East last year too. Byron Samuels told me so. Yes the Byron Samuels from Radford. He is an assistant coach at SF now.
