Congrats to Smitty. Are these games televised?

Maybe on NBA TV or something... I can't imagine it'll be on anything else. Maybe ESPNU.

All the games will be on Orlandomagic.com . They do it every year. The commentators for the games are these two guys named Dante and Galante. The Dante guy has said before that his Alma Mater is Liberty University.

nba tv would be about the only station showing any games on a consistent basis. espn MIGHT show a game or two, but thats about it.

I don't see why Anthony couldn't make it in the NBA, although it would have to be with the right team. He's a good enough shooter for a SG He's certainly tall enough for that spot and is pretty darned athletic. I know he's not known for his great dribbling but he can certainly do it. He's also pretty good at posting up similar sized players. It's still a long shot but I think in the right situation he could catch on.

Hey, good for Anthony. At the very least, he should be in good position to occupy a roster spot on the Pacers' D-league team.

Europe is definitely a better option than D-League. More talent overseas, make more money, europe produces more nba players than the D-League, etc.

no he didn't...he graduated a while back. I actually don't know for sure when he went to school at LU...my brother always tells me how this guy brings up LU from time to time on the local magic radio station in Orlando...but I haven't really looked into it much

Dante is a friend of mine (surprise). He was really good friends with Jay Boykin and Jason Allison, Marcus White and others when I was coaching at LU. I ran into him last year when I went with LU Alum and shooting coach of Dwight Howard Charles Richardson. What a great night! Dante is the sideline reporter for Magic games and you can see him standing behind the bench and in the tunnel. I think I have a FB pic with him but I have 10 million pics on FB and I don't feel like looking to confirm that....As for Anthony, I was told a couple of weeks ago by another alum that this would probably happen. When you are good friends with a franchise player like Granger, you have a great chance of getting on with them in the summer. I have no doubt Smitty has all the tools to play in the league. Still a long shot though at best.

Very excited for Smitty. I noticed the roster also includes Hansbrough, my FAVORITE.

ya they were just talking bout the Pacers summer league on the local Indianapolis news here and they mention some names and Anthony's was on of them....that is amazing even if it is only for summer league.....got another Indianapolis/Lynchburg connection lol (Indianapols Indians are Triple A for Pitt Pirates and Hillcats are Single A)....on another note I bashed and bashed on Pyscho T and now he is Pacer but I must say im happy he is in Indy and I understand why Bird picked him but I will shut up before I get to off topic lol
