I really wish I could find that old video that someone made when message boards first came out about the guy who doesn't look to see if what he posted has already been posted.

In his defense, it wasn't really posted in black and white. We were using our code talk.

when a topic has like 3 million posts i stop reading them bc you guys tend to get off the subject a lot, thats why i didnt see it

I for one appreciate this thread. It comes out and says it and we can begin discussion about it here instead of that other mess of a thread. It was just funny because you went out and said "you heard it here first".

But anyway, how about that Dale Layer

what else is he gonna do? I guess it's more of a question, will Layer keep him? I don't see why not. He's important to stability.

If he keeps the current staff in place, and that's a big if, does anybody think we'll see any drop off? It's like we're right back where we were a week ago after Seth left. Only swap McKay for Layer. And how many times last year did we hear that Layer was just as important as Ritchie anyway?

I think we’ll play a different game with Layer though. I think you’ll see KO and Minaya playing on the wing, with 2 post players.

That would be good for him. Maybe we can get Juice?

From a post on Marquette's forum...

I will eat my computer, video tape the act and put it on YouTube if Layer takes the Liberty job. It is more likely that Murf gets the job and hires me as his assistant. It's more likely that Tom Crean gives up tanning.

Might be worth making him own up to that.

Layer is in his early 50s. He may not have the desire to use us as a stepping stone, but who knows.
