Dear new people

I know things have been, um, how do you say it - frickin crazy around here the past week or so, and likely for the next week, but how about sticking around after it's all over? We've needed some new blood on here for a while. This can be a really fun place when things are going well. Check the other boards, especially the Lynchburg Life and Courtyard. You can have some fun in those. Just don't leave after all of this settles down. Stick around and join the cult.

It's not always this crazy around here. In fact, April-July is usually when the "my favorite YouTube videos of cats" threads start popping up. (Okay, the football forum is usually pretty busy during spring practice, but you get the idea.)
