Possible walk-on/transfer

He went to my high school, I mentioned him earlier. He said he is going to contact the basketball office in the morning, hopefully the new coach will take a look at him.

This isnt an April Fools joke, he said if he knew there was a spot for him on the team scholly or not, he will transfer

Cord is a good kid. I know his coaches well. My cousin Leon was his assistant coach. My assessment of him from seeing him several times from 10-12 grade is that he is very talented, but no fire or competitive drive. Knowing what I know about what it takes to compete, he is one that the next coach would have to really push to become a good player.

If he had worked hard in HS or at least as hard as he should have, he would be a very, very good player now. I wish I was blessed with his physical abilities. He is 6-8 and athletic. I would take the 5 inches in height that's for sure. I wish him well though. It would be nice to see him in the program.
