...I just want everyone to know that I will be transferring to a different message board. It hasn't really been a difficult decision for me, some other college sports boards have offered me more money and exposure. Sure, I've laid some eggs when I've been posting in front of a live blogging audience, but still, you guys are small timers. I'm so grateful to Flamefans for providing me with the stepping stone I need to make it in this world. Thanks to Sly, SuperJon, HMO, BJWilliams, and all you others for the great memories. You guys are great, but let's be honest, you're not Ed Dantes great. So, so long, you peons, and thanks for all the fish.

Good point, Ed. For crying out loud, some BSC schools don't even have message boards. How embarrassing is that?

Unfortunately, the best this board can ever hope for is a 16 seed and a matchup with Carolina's board.

Lets think about this now.... BSC board rankings.

#1- Call me a homer but its gotta be us.
#2- this was a toss up between presby,coastal and VMI but I gotta give it to Presby strictly for the entertainment factor.
#3- VMI
#4-WU
#5- CCU
#6- UNCA? HPU? CSU? i've never been to any of their boards the top four are better than most conferences as far as loyalty and inside info at least that i've seen. Most fans of major schools don't frequent the message boards that often espescially ones with insider info. I'd say by winning the conference we get a 14 seed in the NCAA message board tourney.

Disclaimer: yes i'm bored. sorry. had to get my mind off of Curry for a bit

WU's up there somewhere - they have a good board.

I think we're more of a Gonzaga type board. We are a legitimate threat to make a serious run as a strong mid major, but dissapoint in the 2nd round.

Like i said i've rarely gone to many big school's boards i was on the clemson one during our game with them and it wasn't exactly great. but other than that i don't really know. I do have to say this boards content can be the funniest stuff i've ever seen. and unlike some other boards we are somewhat clean when it comes to humor as well! i like it. I'm gonna be like bill weaver and say i love it here and i'm staying so don't worry about me!

yeah there are plenty of times when i am laughing out loud at some of the threads on here and the sarcasm of some people. We should build our team around Bill Weaver and Jesse Sanders. Loyalty and Grit.

We have a small contingent on our board (five or six posters.. we are still relatively new) and we all already know each other so I guess it mainly just gives us a venue to talk about the team.

I was going to say post stuff about new developments with the school (construction, etc.) but I dont know if you guys have alot of that. And I wont be the jerk who says get a football team it helps.

But it made me realize more of how great LU is (sorry I dont mean this to be rubbing it in to non-flames or whatever) but just of how what other school do you see the constant growth like at Liberty. Like the last four years the campus has looked different on the first day of classes than it did the last day of classes before, and its looked different on the last day of classes than it did the first day of classes that year.

Like the new dorms, the book store, docs diner, the perimeter road, the new floor of the c-lab, north campus always changing. And just in the 30 years and change since 1971, its amazing.

But any UNC-Asheville football team in the future would have a hard time winning more games than we did in 2008.

It's just not a good fit. For a variety of reasons.
