I told Tommy McMasters when Carter 1st came on campus that he looked like classic Bill Walton. That is a great pic.

That Bill Walton broke my heart in 1977. His Blazers (Walton playing for the Blazers is kind of funny! I just got that after all these years!), beat my Sixers in 6 games in the NBA finals. That Sixers team has twice the talent but no teamwork when it counted most.

Me and Sly had this conversation last week but Walton in 1977 Walton may be one of the few guys in the NBA that won it all by himself. Hakeem in 1994 is another one.
