I'm going to wind it up early Thursday - get to my new high def - and settle in for 4 hours worth of exciting BSC basketball! I am jacked for Thursday already. Like the fact RU, VMI and Liberty are in the mix. I hate both of those schools so the intensity will be elevated!

As of right now, we still stand to get throttled with the way we are playing. Something is going to have to change. Like somebody else showing that they can score when left wide open. I'm sure the coaching staff has been trying to correct it, but we're past the point where we can go 5+ minutes of just turning the ball over or taking silly shots.

That's the feeling I had just a few days ago when we walked into Dedmon. Hopefully we flip the switch once again.

I agree...I am still worried...but I am happy with how Tyler has played...he needs to continue to be aggressive and be a true scoring threat that they have to worry about...all we have to do is have a solid 4th option and it will go a long way in helping us

I do think we will come out with the energy we need to compete though...but I would be lying if I said I wasn't at all worried

If Tyler and Austin play like they have been then I like our chances...it's nice to see them playing well and giving us much needed minutes. Plus Jesse will be even healthier which is a great thing for us.

Quarterfinals WEREN'T on anything. But we just won, in case you didn't see.

Semifinals will be on ESPNU as previously stated.

Since I did this for the GW game, and we won, I am going to do it for this game, too...

What did we do wrong when we lost to them?

Didn't make threes at all. Settled for bad shots, and couldn't hit the good looks.

Assist to Turnover Ratio was less than 1.00, which is not good.

We got out rebounded... something that should never ever ever ever happen against VMI.

What did we do right when we beat them?

We made over 40% of our threes.

Assist to turnover ratio was still bad, but we made up for it in solid free throw shooting and good shooting from the floor.

We out rebounded them by 18... that's more like it.

i just saw highlights of the radford game on the local news. it looked like they turned off all the lights around the court and just had the lights above the court on. it was really dark in there. when we traveled to the game last year, all the lights were kept on. did anyone go to the game saturday? are they trying a new atmosphere? are they trying to conserve energy? WTF?
