It's something a lot of schools do. NDSU had an entire campaign based around something like this for football.

I'm mixed on how many people we'll have. We did give away a ton of tickets and still didnt get the turnout like we wanted...however VMI always travels well not to mention the locals that will come out either being VMI supporters or grads...I think we'll get 4,739 at the game

that would be wierd if the number you chose was exactly right. i think 8000 could be possible. Im trying to get the word around my school.

VMI always travels well and they have a ton of alum in Lynchburg. We know the student section will be packed. I think the community will be there too.

I completely disagree!! We have the biggest crowd in a long time at this game. It will be packed. Get there early of you want a seat.
Sounds like LU teamed up with a advertising/marketing company...
NOPE - just believe as a FAN that this will be an attractive game.

Look, there isn't much to do around here. These are 2 good, high scoring local teams with good records and star players. I think this will be a great chance to push 8K. I don't know if we can get there or not, but I think it will be close.

Comcast Sportsnet ran a segment on VMI today, never mentioned us though. But, hopefully that will spark some sort of interest.

Its going to be alumni appreciation night. We sent a mailing to all LU alumni within reasonable traveling distance, offering them premium seating for $5, plus some other giveaways. I expect this campaign to go over well.
