Let's get the ball rolling. We're two days away from game time!

This road trip scares me. I'm scared we'll drop at least one of these.

I feel the exact opposite. I don't know what it is, but I think we're going to play REALLY well in both of the games.

Horrez and I will be attempting the rare Rock Hill/Charleston double-header on Saturday. Assuming the WU/PC game in Rock Hill (which starts at 2:00) doesn't last forever, and assuming there aren't any traffic or car problems going from Rock Hill to North Charleston, then we should be able to get to the CSU/LU game a little before tipoff.

Any people on here heading down to the BucDome?

There haven't been that many years we have swept this trip. I used to go down every year for these 2 games. Thought I would be doing it this year, but something has come up. I might still try to make the Coastal game Monday.

Liberty swept the trip in 2004-05, 1996-97, 1995-96.

Those 2 games Blair and Dees were amazing. I'd have to look up their stats, but it seemed that every possession one of them was scoring.

Picking up these next two games would give us a ton of confidence heading into the ODU game. I really just hope we dont look past the Bucs.

If the season ended today, we'd get Coastal in the Big South tournament. A win would go along way to build confidence heading in to that game.

I am pretty sure that Presby (arent eligible until next year?) and the last place team won't make it to the tourney so we'd get Winthrop if the season ended today. I could be wrong but that is my understanding.

Yeah, we would get WU if the season ended today.

Barring a total collapse, we are going to be the 3 or 4 seed and face either WU or G-W at home. As far as a matchup is concerned, IMHO it's pretty much a push (but I'd rather beat the Eagles for sure).

I would much rather play them in the first round. As many possible.

Dont count out UNCA or CCU as either 5th or 6th respectively.

UNCA is in really good shape for the four ... a game ahead of G-W with a sweep of the Bulldogs in hand. Beating VMI would go a long way to getting Liberty the edge in a potential tiebreaker with the Bulldogs.

I was wrong--w ewould get Winthrop if the season ended today (and we'd lose by 20, right?). This would be the current seeding if it started today:

1. Virginia Military 11-2
2. Radford 11-2
3. Liberty 9-5
4. North Carolina-Asheville 8-6
5. Gardner-Webb 7-7
6. Winthrop 5-9
7. Coastal Carolina 4-9
8. High Point 3-11

I think any combination of us, VMi, Radford or UNCA could come out on top from the Big South this year. We want to do our best to stay away from Radford, IMO, due to the big man. We've got to take care of business down the stretch here.

Definitely interesting & exciting from here on out. I'm out of town this evening, but I'll be anxious to hear...

I don't think this group fears any matchup right now. I can't wait for the tournament. It will be nice to see all the games 2nd and final rounds in person which I will if it remains in Virginia. This has been a fun year. Never a dull moment.

Yeah, you can always have some fear of losing, and probably should, but this team doesn't have to fear being able to compete. I believe they have as much talent as anyone in the BS.

Kelvin Martin is out this game and maybe for the rest of the season with a knee injury for CSU. Billy Blackmon is definitely out with a broken forearm so they are short handed. This is one that Liberty should get but you still have to play well to win there. I just watched lowly HPU beat Gardner-Webb at home. The foul shooting was poor for both teams and it looked like neither wanted to win it.

I know. I feel good about these games for some reason, too!

About 20 minutes from the BucDome for the 2nd part of my Big South double-header...I can't root for LU tonight (yes, I know it is a huge longshot, but WU can still get to the #3 seed if wu wins out, lu loses out, and pc or unca joins wu and lu in a 3 way tie), but I'm hoping for a good/entertaining game. I'll definitely come back on here later to give my impressions on the game...

Looking forward to your observations as I'll be limited to the vocal stylings of Jerry tonight.
