I figured someone would've been all over this the second it was posted.

Liberty senior guard Anthony Smith has been named the Big South Conference New Balance Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 19-25, as announced by the league office.

Smith’s honor comes one week after teammate Seth Curry earned his second nod as player of the week this season, marking the first time since the 2000-01 campaign, Liberty has boasted back-to-back players of the week. Chris Caldwell and Maurice Watkins earned the consecutive honors that season.

And Megan won the womens' honor today as well.
