after watching that video, it has become apparent to me, that we are definitely not utilizing this kid enough!

the D1 game is a bit faster then what he was experiencing there...but it does give us a glimpse of what he could be if he keeps working hard that is for sure

Fun to watch, but totally irrelevant now. PT is going to be determined by performance in practice and in the games when opportunities are given. Right now Austin has as many fouls as points and rebounds combined when he plays, and apparently is not impressing the coaches in practice. He clearly has D1 athleticism for a 6'9 kid, but he just hasn't made the adjustment to a higher level of competition and a new system. I'm somewhat surprised myself in light of his performance in his team's Arizona state HS championship run.

Austin has a ton of potential, he just hasn't put it all together yet. There have been flashes of it (Winthrop) but then there have been times when he looked almost awful (basically every other time he was in the game).

He can do that at this level - it's all about one thing - CONFIDENCE!!
