Game #13: USC Upstate Spartans in Vegas

We return to the court tonight against the Spartans at 5:00. With such a short turnaround maybe Ritchie was saving the bench for tonight's game.
At first glance, USC doesn't look very good. 1-9 with their only win coming last night against Southern University.

Ha, that's one way to put a positive spin on it

They do have a center from Germany that's 7'3. He's averaging around 9 and 9. I'd imagine saving TB for the game tonight to try and get him away from the basket.
Assuming that TB isn't sitting this one out.

In 72-73 we had a guy who was 7'0" and could not dunk the ball, not kidding, I used to travel with the team. Height does not automatically talent.

Was going off of ESPN's listing...LU's athletic site has it at 5, so that's what we'll go with.

Correct me if i'm wrong but the first two games in this tourney we were in our blues and reds right? and we lost both. and it looks like last night when we won we were in the greys.... we beat GMU in grey... we beat W&M in grey... I think we should wear the grey's more often.

We can't wear grey on the road.

If I remember the kid in 72 73 was from Idaho. I was the bb manager for part of the first semester and then quit.

Ok, so game time in 30 min or so. I would like to see us learn something from the past 3 games and maybe shoot better than 30% in the first 10 minutes. Make them play our game and keep the 7 footer on the bench.
