It is high time he gets his own thread beyond his recruitment. And his hometown fishwrap in Florida gets it started ...

Former Shores Christian Academy basketball standout Brolin Floyd is off to a fast start at Div. 1 Liberty University.
Floyd, a 6-foot-6 freshman guard, has started all eight games for 6-2 Liberty, including a pair of highly competitive ACC road games, a five-point win at Virginia and a five-point loss at Clemson. Floyd is averaging 6.8 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting 42 percent from the field and 76 percent from the line.
seriously, hes a beast. Last saturday I was sitting behind the media tables at the end of the court. Brolin came charging down the floor towards me and I was frightened for my life.

Yea he is tough and he is also super nice.....I got a chance to talk to him for a lil while after the Clemson game and he seems like a down to earth kid
The best of Brolin Floyd is yet to come, Liberty coach Ritchie McKay has said repeatedly. Somewhat forgotten in Liberty’s talented freshman class, the 6-foot-5 wing from Ocala, Fla., had been battling confidence issues ever since scoring 15 points in the Flames’ season-opening victory against Montreat...Floyd finished with 10 points in 20 tidy minutes, hitting 4 of 5 field goals and both of his 3-pointers. He led Liberty (7-2) with seven rebounds. On a night when Seth Curry again led Liberty in scoring with 22 points, Floyd’s performance signified a breakout.
“He’s the most athletic person on our team,” Curry said. Floyd adds, “another dimension, another slasher who can get to the hole and knock down open shots. He might be our best lockdown defender against the other team’s best player.”
How athletic is Floyd? He threw down a vicious tomahawk jam on one end of the floor Monday, and he dove hard after a loose ball on the defensive end he had no chance of getting to, yet he almost saved it anyway. The hustle play drew a standing ovation from the members of the Liberty bench.
is he as long as Gabe was? I know they are both 6'5" but I just feel Gabe was longer for some reason...was he not?
