Caller about UVa's coach:

"He's recruited Big South talent to UVa."

Caller about attendance:

"My brother said there were 3,000 fans and 2,000 were from Liberty."

it's UVa basketball, why would anyone want to watch that garbage? they got rid of the previous coach because he wasnt doing a good enough job, then they go and hire a person with the same type of resume the old coach had coming in and they are expecting different results how? He was brought in with one of his major strengths being recruiting, but what has he done in recruiting there, because I sure haven't seen a plethora of awesome players going there. Every sdingle good mid or even low major team would stand a pretty good chance of beating UVa it looks like, especially after their struggle with RADFORD of all teams - Longwood might even have a chance against the Cavaliers. I imagine Syracuse is going to take them out behind the woodshed multiple times Friday.

UVA has at least 2 or 3 McDonalds All-Americans on their roster. That doesn't put them up with the UNCs of the basketball world, but does show that they are recruiting at a high level, and one would think it would enable them to beat LU.

They have one McDonald's All-American on their roster this year and he's a freshman - Landesburg.
