Hey we do this in the football discussion so I figure why not move it to the basketball discussion too.
You know how it works folks...Im pretty sure we will win this....the question is how large will the margin of victory be?

I really think our attendance will be much better than last year with the new additions and Curry's name in particular. If he lives up to his billing then I would expect us to average 5-6,000+ the next 3 years (not counting this year).

I don't know about that. Basketball has a lot of games and they're not always on weekends. Averaging that many would be beyond impressive.

Yeah, but IF Seth lives up to his billing I could see it happening because he would be getting not just regional press but national press. I would imagine those living within an hour of the 'burg that are bball fans would make regular trips to see him play.

I am sure a romp is expected, but I'm surprised by the attendance predictions. I know it is an early season warm-up, but what has happened to the support for the basketball program?

I think the combination of being a Friday night and curiosity about the new players will bring out a decent crowd, even against a weak opponent.

Anyone know when was the last time we scored a 100? I'm guessing it was against VMI.

We'll drop at least 90 against Montreat, and I'll take the over on the highest attendance prediction of 3,800.

now if this was several years ago, I would have taken Montreat. Probably b/c I had first hand knowledge of their personnell (And they almost beat LU the last time they played) BUT unless those guys are 8th yr seniors.......I 'll go with LU but 55

with the attendance this week we have to account for CFAW as well as curious "Lynchburgers" who want to check out Seth...

I had no idea it was cfaw...but with the concert being so lame, not sure how many cfaw'ers will actually be there.
