Our tv schedule was announced today and it's the best one in school history.
Liberty will also be in the national television spotlight when they help ESPN celebrate the start of the 2008-09 college basketball season. The all sports network will open the year with the new College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon, featuring 23 consecutive hours of live college basketball game and studio programming, Nov. 18. Liberty’s Big South Conference opener at UNC Asheville on Nov. 18 was selected as one of 14 game telecasts and will fill the 2 p.m. EST time slot. The contest will be broadcast on ESPN with a simulcast on ESPN360.com.
In what is the second year of the partnership between Liberty Athletics and MASN, six conference home games and one non-conference home game will air on the station. One additional road contest will also be broadcast on the network for a total of eight MASN broadcasts of the Liberty men’s hoopsters.

We are certainly getting a lot of coverage this year...that ESPN game is huge. A huge pat on the back for whoever is getting this done.

that is great! glad to see that we will continue to have the opportunity with MASN and even a few more games and of course the espn thing is awesome...I think we can thank Kenny George for that one...even though he won't be playing...Seth Curry will be a good story for espn...

I thought I had heard rumors of basketball being in family net, I guess that didn't work out

I am very excited about the Mason game here in Lynchburg. This is going to be a pretty good test on how our program will do against very consistent mid majors.
