Eric Coplinz (spelling?) is on campus today, he's a 2007 recruit and already has offers on the table from several schools in the MAC.....maybe our statboy can help me out on the spelling and some stats


also the players are playing about every day now around 5 or 5:30 and word is Brew had one heck of a game and the guy with Eric called coach D telling him how impressed he was of Brew.

are they playing in the vines or the schilling? tell me vines please.

It is a cheap alternative to the Jamerson Y and with no commitment, I do it 1 semester or 1 month at a time. Alumni/Staff/spouses can go there. Not sure if you guys knew that or not.

No, I didn't know that. I thought it was just students/faculty. Do they card you or anything? Or do you just have to show them a vintage LU shirt. I've got a Mel Hankinson Basketball Camp basketball. Will that get me in?

The Hankinson shirt will get you as many minutes as he had wins in his last season which isn't exactly enough to get a good cardio workout. You can get a Liberty One card (which is what the students use for ID now I think). They don't card you if you are alum. They make you sign a sheet and that sheet is checked against paid/unpaid faculty,staff etc. The One card lets you pay online. You really don't need it but I think it is nice to have. Plus I use it to get a student discount at the dollar theatre.

Hey Scar, you and I will have to get together and play sometime. I pretty much live on the court when I'm in Lynchburg.

TD I would love to shoot around with you sometime. I have met a few Flamefans/Firehouse members in LaHaye to take some 3 pointers and discuss Liberty athletics. Are you a student or Alumni? Maybe we can get a few folks up at LaHaye this Saturday morning when I am back in town. That would be fun.

He thought I was ignoring him last weekend after I rolled my SUV because I wasn't calling him back. (see the Chapel room under Happy to be here for the details if you have not heard). I will try not to have an incident this weekend on my way back home. Lets just hope it is not raining because I don't know if I can drive through another storm after last week! BTW the doctors and Paramedics were wrong about being sore. I actually never experienced it the whole weekend.... I think some late morning, early afternoon flamefans basketball is in order this Saturday. KillnEm, you are more than welcome to come out and get served as well

Thanks for the invite Scar, I will take you up just not this weekend or next weekend or even the next...maybe in August... Just read on the Chapel thread about your accident and I was thinking how you can take your name out of NASCAR... so be careful out there next time.

OK KillnEM, I promise I will be more careful for sure. NASCAR huh. Maybe I will have to start paying closer attention for 2 reasons: 1st because it has my name and second because clearly I need to learn how to drive through 3 foot high puddles in an SUV a little more carefully and those guys can show me how its done...August? That is a long time from now. I may not have the same skill set that I possess today. I am not getting any younger. I can still touch the backboard on a layup here in June. By August, I may not be able to get up that high. They make a pill for just about everything for guys to fight aging. They need one for guys that have lost several inches on their verticle jump. Kinda like the Viagra of athletic ability. Maybe our boy Bill Hayes' company can develop that and market it. I would buy it for sure.

HAHA!!!!!!! I can't tell you how many refs we had on our varsity teams.... I swear we would get at least 2 or 3 T's a game because we thought we were refs...
