Coach said he's out 'til December with a stress fracture.

I saw him today on crutches. That's not a good sign that we won't have him til December!

We have the worst luck with stress fractures. Hopefully he'll be ready by Big South play.

Tyler played the 06-07 season. He missed 05-06 and 07-08.

Have you ever bought a used car?
Yeah, same thing.

LU may need a new floor... sometimes that may cause stress fractures.

With Anderson out that, Ohman will be seeing plenty of minutes. It's a good thing he got time in last season. That valuable experience should help him stand out among the Freshmen.
But let's be real here. This season goes as ASmith goes. If he has a great year, which he should, the pieces are there to compete for the top spot in our conference. If he has a down year from last, those "freshmen mishaps" will loom larger and expect growing pains.

KO is looking to be our second best scorer right now.

Let the boos come - but I didn't think Anderson was that good anyways...
He could shoot, but anyone at this level should be able to hit down an open three. Can he do anything else? Play D? Drive to the goal? I don't think so.
I never want to see anyone hurt, but I don't think he makes or breaks our season - what the freshman do - does.

He's really improved some of the stuff you just mentioned. Is he great at them? Nope. He is what he is: a shooter. He's working on that other stuff though. His shot is getting off a lot faster this year as well.

That good to hear. Because if he is as one dimensional this year - it will not work, because teams will focus on him more.

We'd better hope not. That would be bad news unless he's really learned how to score other ways than hitting open three's. I love his game, he's a tough kid, but if he's our second leading scorer, I'd suggest we're middle of the pack in the Big South at best.

If he got points for thumping his chest after every shot - he would be an All-American!!!

We may have a new nickname coming...THUMPER!
