whats up flames,

i heard all schools w/ nike jerseys are upgrading to the new nike system of dress jerseys including mid-majors (george mason and vcu for example). i know you guys have nike jerseys, any news on if you guys are getting the upgrade? just wondering if the big south is getting any love, or left in the cold as usual. I figured if you guys get them we might have a good chance of getting them also. thanks

With RM's connection to Nike, I'm guessing he'll get whatever he wants style wise....I havent heard though

We're keeping the same uniforms from last year that we changed to for conference play.

I haven't seen them. I don't like the idea of a non-school color jersey but I'll wait til I actually see them to complain. I'd rather the grey on the current uniforms (the blue and reds) be white but oh well.

Gray sounds pretty awesome, actually. I think I'll need to bring my Camera to get some UniWatch pics for that one.

I meant that we weren't going to be getting system of dress ones.

I didn't wanna say, "We're keeping the three we have and adding a fourth one but I can't say what it is yet." I couldn't be the one that said anything about it so I didn't even hint to it.

Come on, SJ. With your early thread mentions of the Dr. Kerr/Coolhand Sisters confrontation I thought you were getting the hang of teases. But I guess you still have much to learn, grasshopper.

and yet you still haven't called me...

Because you quit the group meaning there was no issue to talk about. We went over the rules again last night and things are fixed. Nothing was said specifically about who said what, just that there was an issue so we needed to remind everyone what the rules were. But none of this has to do with uniforms.

So, since it's out of the bag, what's everyone's opinions on having a uniform that's base color isn't a school color? Is it no big deal because it's done in baseball all the time? Would you rather keep the red, white, navy blue and only those three colors?

Gray, white, and black are all fine as base colors for jerseys. I like the idea and can't wait to see them in action.
