Assembly Hall is the most overrated gym not located in Lawrence, KS.

The floor looks nice. Its clean & simple and not embarassing like the block lettering before. I'm good with it but not blown away.

I thought Jerry wanted the football program to move to DI while he's still with us.

I think it's required to have your conference logo on the court. There's no way we get out of the conference before next year anyways.

A coat of paint can change things in an instant.

As for hope of moving to a different league, there is nothing brewing right now. A big improvement in both football & mens hoops this season could increase our chances in a hurry.

OK, I went to pay homage to the floor in person and I was very impressed. The pictures don't do it justice in terms of how the colors jump at you, especially the red. The finish is so shiny (which of course will wear off once action takes place). We may actually hear sneakers squeeking in the Vindes center!

Very Funny AG, very funny Truth is I used to say that I would be able to dunk when I was 50. I am not even 40 yet but my dunking days may be over. I know one thing, if I ever get one again, it would replace my old ETSU dunk as the one that gets talked about for eternity. Now that we have a new floor I should go in one day this summer and practice dunking until I get it, like Woody Harrelson in White Men Can't Jump.

I believe that the rims are adjustable SCAR. That could help you out some!

The new logo will also be painted on the two big walls behind the scoreboard as you come in the 2 main Vines Center entrances.

They should also paint it on the walls down next to the archway where there used to be bleachers. THat'll never happen though since the Vine's has to be ale to look non sporty for TV stuff.

I'm a huge fan of this new floor. Part of what makes a floor is the team that plays on it... But for the color scheme alone... it looks great.

My only beef is the side of the Big South logos and the fact that they are in white. It seems like they stand out far more than I'd want them to but everyone is a critic right?

I'm very pleased with the job done here. Around LU it appears we have some conformaty coming with our image for once. I love it.

I noticed that the font on that logo doesn't look right. I figured they just used whatever font the painter felt like.

no kidding could we have painted the logo's in CAMO so nobody would see it but it's there so we abide by all the rules????

Geez- 7 pages and I wasn't even involved. Thumbs up, though- huge improvement. I had the same thought as Tally, the new AD is really pulling things together. gotta luv the energy of the young guys.
