Careful, Henry, you are bordering on information overload for JDUB. :frustrated

Nice little blog on Jesse. Looks like he was being pursued by Auburn. Also, the Sanders family seems to be sold on Coach McKay: In McKay, Tom Sanders found "the right man to mentor my son,"

Also, at least one Rice hoops observer describes LU as "a team on the rise." And, of course, he's impressed that LU was able to land Seth Curry.

Sounds like he has legitimate contacts close to the situation, based on his quotes from Jesse's Dad.

Coach Willis Wilson is a good guy. I got to hear his testimony and his experience both positive and negative at Rice. He spoke at the Athletes in Action luncheon along with Tony Bennett from Washington. Ritchie McKay prayed for the blessing of the food too. I think the relationship with the head coach and what he stands for is important to Jesse and his family. No offense to coach Ben Braun. It also helped that Jason Eaker knew his family through the recruitment of his brother who is now at Gardner-Webb.

I agree, Wilson is a class act.

He and McKay go way back. So, I guess we can venture into a few obvious assumptions.

I was reffering more specifically to the Sanders situation.

He'd be a great addition, though. But, I'm sure he'll have plenty of assistant offers to choose from, if he even wants to go in that direction right now.

olldflame - You did see the wink emoticon, didn't you?

And I have to admit some surprise at seeing one of MK's blogs being quoted on this board. You people have no idea what a small world we live in.

Yeah, I saw it. Just not sure if it's a "knowing" wink or a "just kidding" wink.

All I can think of is I would :cartwheels if Juice came to coach.

Julius is interested in coaching. That would be really cool if he got on the Liberty staff. He is coaching the Nigerian jr nationals now I believe.
