I'm glad somebody ruined it. I certainly didn't have it in me. So, it really sucks that senior night was on 2/13. Yet another scheduling blunder.

I was sitting in the band section and there were folks with hands on their head in absolute stunned silence at what happened. I mean I really didn't know what to say...but in all of this you gotta really feel for Anthony Smith, I didn't stick around to see them break the huddle because I had another event to get to but I don't doubt that it was pretty quiet in the locker room after that one...and I hope Smitty got plenty of support from the coaches and his teammates

As for IMS.....no, it should not be shut down....go ask the people who play intramurals (as I did), they will say they would rather play than watch LU..

Also, students PAY extra to play........never should extracurricular activities be shutdown in order to promote a basketball game.....

Ok So I have finally calmed down enough to discuss this game...

First off, I didnt sleep last night i was so mad, so if there is a typo please excuse it.

1. LB Played a great game, He took some bad shots, but they fell for him.
2. I felt like we outrebounded them, but We didnt do anything with it.
3. Coach D did not deserve a Tech. but he did get one, and i dont think that lost us the game.
4. Smitty, Yes he missed his FT's but Thats not why we lost.
5. Tyler Baker Played like Crap. Yes I said it.
6. BJ Needs to start playing ball again I dont know whats going on with him.
7. I would like to have seen more Brew, Hubbard (Yes Hubbard), and Holland in the Second HAlf.
8. The Refs were bad, and i could blame them for the loss, but i wont.
9. Obviously Our fullcourt trap needs some work.
10. RP was there, and played regualr hustle RP ball, but he just looked a little out of it to me.
11. I just feel that maybe we should have had some rotation on the second half rather than put BJ in and the starters play the whole time. I realize it was close, but we are deep, and we should have shown that.

and i think thats it... Now we just need to get ready for Radford and VMI, I dont care about Longwood OR Niagra... Its going to take a lot to win at VMI and right now our players arent showing it, I feel like the Coaching Staff is doing their best, but the players dont want it

I agree with all of the above comments, especially the Coastal sucks one. But most people on this board thinks they are good. I can't figure that by looking at their results. Not sure Kevin Keys should be fired. I will have to trust you on that one.

No, The game had nothing to do with him... Should have stated that better... The game wasnt his fault, he just sucks at his job and needs to be fired, but thats a different thread, different day haha



P.S. I blame the loss on Tyler Falwell... Maybe if he wore his red shirt the whole game we would have won, maybe if he didnt wear it at all we would have won... Needless to say its his fault haha

They say they want better things but I'm sure once they are better to them, they'll find a reason to want something different in no time.
