Last year the reason we were so bad was because players transfering over the summer with the new coach that left us no time to recruit. We had players transfer to Pitt, Marquette, UTEP and Xavier before the season. The year before that we had 3 other players transfer as well so it really depleted our talent.well thats the same thing with us last year. one of our players is the best player on Lafayette (cajuns). he is averaging 22. we had a 7 footer get dismissed from the program, and our only senior last year decided not to come back. i think with those guys, we are a totally different team. expecially with dees.
The ECU transfer to Pitt and is starting and averaging 13ppg on the #2 team in the nation. I think you guys undersale the type of talent we have been getting, we just haven't been able to keep them 4 years. Seeing this team it is clear to me that Stokes has brought in some good talent, IMO better than what I have seen in a while. They are young but I will be absolutely shocked if we get run of the court. That includes by Winthrop as well.
and you guys will see how good we get when dwight comes in a few saturdays.
