I got to watch some of the game last night and I love the hustle of this bunch. I think I counted at least 4 times where guys went after rebounds or lose balls to extend possessions and lead to points. you really were not seeing that the last couple seasons

Well if ever it was a good time to play them it was this year. Especially after Threat gets kicked out and Kyle Anderson breaks his hand. They are doing about what everyone thought they would do. Bad timing for my boy Monte' though. He doesn't have a contract after this season. Plus they have a new AD. That could be a bad combination. He will have a job within a week though IMO.

I knew Usher and Sadler graduating would cause the team to drop off, but WOW. I don't think anyone expected it to be that much. At the beginning of the season I thought this would be a good win.

Usher and Sadler were both 20 point scorers that they knew they would lose. Threat is a 20 point scorer that they planned on playing this year until they kicked him out of school for violation of team rules. Anderson was about an 11 points a game scorer (yes they scored a ton of points last season) broke his shooting hand and hasn't played this season. That's 76 ppg you lost from the prior season. That's REALLY tough to overcome and tough to replace.

I don't see it happening. But Liberty will be able to go after anyone they want because of the salary and resources and the plans on moving to a more competitive conference.
