This is far from settled and I hope to be able to give firm news soon on several points.

We won't know much on this regard likely until summer. But there is a very real possibility that someone on your initial list might not be back next season. But nothing has been decided at this point to my knowledge.
Are one of those points related to Sanders? Since his name popped up, Sly has been pretty quiet; I would think that a fellow Houstonian would have some inside info!

looks like someone is a little bitter cause the guy wouldnt give a second glance to Radford. A lot of these guys go to places because of the coach, if Layer was the main guy recruiting him then there are still ties there, plus Layer would be able to offer him prominent playing time here, and we have seen what he has done with players going to the NBA. So like i said don't completely rule out Bryant coming here, cause its still a real possibility

haha im not bitter about anything, I know radford wouldnt have a shot at that kid either.......if a kid is getting offers from big time schools, hes not coming to a school in the big south because of a coach, that would be crazy.

UVa has nothing open...they could always cut someone or ask him to walk on...but right now there is no room.

I'm hearing Jesse is 50/50 right now. Metaphorically speaking Jesse just went through a bad break up and we're asking him to trust us right away and give us another chance. Give it time, today was a step towards that but dont expect any decisions right away...it's a process and we're doing everything we can

Does Anybody know anything about Kenny Onyechi, according to Scout.com he has a verbaly committed to LU, If we were able to sign him along with Vader pol, it would give us two new big men which would provide allot of depth along with Austin and Mcmasters.

He backed out of his LU commitment a long time ago and verbaled to Long Island U. I believe he has since decomitted from them as well. I highly doubt we will see him at LU.

What I need to do is turn off the computer and check back here after April 15th to see how everything has shaken out and what kind of foundation we have to build on going forward...

Unfortunately I am addicted to FF and check in about 5 times a day looking for the latest news, LOL. I do believe that once everyone has had a chance to take a few deep breaths and look around objectively we see that the future is promising for LU basketball in the mid to long term with or without all of our current players.

I am just ready to know who is with us and get on with it. It won't be long until we know.

April 15 is just the start of the signing period. It's not a signing day like in football. It's the start of a length of time where kids can sign.

We're not going to be the team to beat HoMO, no matter what "works out".

After about 3 weeks of repeated bad news, it certainly looks like things are turning around. I'm almost as upbeat about our team next year as I was before Seth announced he was leaving. We won't be the favorites to win the BSC, and wouldn't have been regardless, but if Layer can pull a recruiting rabbit or 2 out of his hat with the remaining scholarships, I think we can make a run at it.

Radford's the team to beat. I'm not saying we can't be in the mix when conference play rolls around, but noone will see us as the team to beat. Ralph Sampson's not walking through that door.

The potential is there to put together a team that can challenge when the time comes, but there will be way too many unknowns to be considered on a par preseason with a big, talented and EXPERIENCED RU team. If everything falls in place, we could be picked as high as second.
