Perhaps you could've played Anderson, Coker, and William & Mary in Schilling as well- at least based on the attendance figures... Hell we could have let you use the JC, it would give you more time to get used to the backboards you fans complain about.. I guess I don't understand how you can get 5200 people to come watch the opener vs Montreat- (Montreat!!) & after beating Virginia which was awesome- you're getting less than half of that per home game.. maybe I did miss something or maybe I was crying over our lack of a football team.. I never can tell..

So much good stuff to argue about and we are talking attendance figures and my gym is bigger than your gym? How 'bout which team has improved more since our last meeting? What's up with preseason BSC favorites stinking it up so far? Come on this is a big week for us. We could run off 4-5 wins in a row.

Hey King Ding Aling, how hard is it REALLY to fill a gym my MIDDLE SCHOOL would have been ashamed to play in? You want to talk about filling arena's to capacity, it can't be that hard when you play in a SHOE BOX!! Oh and for the record, no I'm NOT 21. I'm quite a bit older than that. My point, since it obviously went over your head the first time was that in championship games Liberty DOES pack the Vines Center. You play in a middle school gym and there are STILL EMPTY SEATS when you have clearly the most dominant team in the conference in the last seven or eight years in your building AND it's on NATIONAL TELEVISION. I would be willing to bet you and your hippie buddies in Asheville couldn't fill an arena like the Vines Center let alone the INJUSTICE CENTER. Get a REAL place to play basketball, and maybe, emphasis on MAYBE, people will start taking your program seriously.

Not sure what empty seats you're referring to in last year's championship game at the JC perhaps you should realize that many people like myself that purchase several booster seats on the TV camera view that God forbide be empty in a few moments on TV- because folks like myself stand above the court along the home bench baseline side of the building (Fumble can attest to the amount of folks who don't sit in their seats)- when the Fire Marshall is at ALL your home games & not letting anyone else in the building- I'm pretty sure that means it's at capacity (even for a shoe box!!)..

You guys continue to make my point though- since we have such below average & when Fumbles was there so really poor facilities (training room, weight room, our gym, student athletic center prior to the current one).. so now that we have established how bad things have been and/or are at UNCA- why do we continue to field such good teams & get committments from great recruits if they didn't want to endure all this so-called hardship or play in the JC?? I'm looking for someone to provide that answer on here..

Every single game you've mentioned has been during a holiday time when the students were on break. Townies don't really come to the games. They don't like us.

I'm not really arguing here- I'm just kinda stirring the pot a little- relax fellas, take a deep breath.. I'm just having a little fun!! I understand that fall break, finals, & this holiday break aren't representative of what will probably happen in January on.. I'm just saying you would think that the townies would come support a program that looks like it's in store for a pretty good year- even the Asheville hippies came out last year to watch us or to see Kenny if nothing else!!

Yep- 1600 x 2... Besides even when the Kimmel Arena is complete with 3000-3200 seats- it's not like more than 100 or so of your 10,000 students would ever make the trip.. Some of you here are great supporters of your team, I appreciate that!! It's why I like flamefans so much.. It's the bandwagon folks who don't come on here when you guys lose a game or 2- or degrade your team after 1 game that seem to be the most talkative only now- Besides the JC has been a great building for 50+ years- It just should have been replaced a long, long, long time ago once we were committed to D-1 athletics, we've talked in other threads about how state institutions can't go into debt on a whim to replace multi-million dollar buildings.. I thought it was funny that there were SO many empty seats in the pics & made one sarcastic comment- my bad.... but didn't one of your own fans say that too?? No one was battling things out with them.. but I can handle it..

Depaul should be a good test for you guys tomorrow- looking forward to seeing how you guys compete on the road, dealing with the traveling, etc.. UVA was a great win- but prob didn't take much/if any toll traveling, etc.. Plus Depaul prob isn't going to be close to sold out with holidays & their team not being as touted they have been- but that's another thread..

That's pretty sad- even for the holiday break.. this game is one of those that's really hard for me to peg to be honest- they've played really poorly most of the time, but shown positives like UIC on the road..
