:dontgetit Right after the VMI game of which our UNCA friend speaks, Seth scored 25 in a win @Radford and then 30 the next game against Gardner Webb. You really can't say he hasn't been the same since.

He's basically getting tripled most nights now. Sometimes it's effective, sometimes it's not. VMI & JMU got it done.

As far as next year goes, he should be bigger, stronger, more confident, and playing with a better supporting cast. Plus, he'll actually be college age this time, when he turns 19, early next semester.

Seth will be here as long as McKay is. And, I haven't heard anything about McKay going anywhere. If anything he seems upbeat and excited about next year.

He did look kinda tired in warm-ups, i got there pretty early and he was missing close shots and he even missed some lay-ups. Of course he wasn't trying hard but still
That's what makes me think the tired thing more than anything. I saw him miss more shots in warmups than I ever have. He just simply didn't have it.

Did you see it when he just gave up shooting jumpers and was at the free throw line for like 10 minutes?

And he missed a ton of free throws before the game and missed free throws during the game. He simply didn't have it.

I was with someone who said he looked tired from the 3rd minute on...this guy doesnt follow the team at all or even know much about Seth but that was his observation

He also seemed really hesitant to pull up on his shots, he was not the normal Seth.

This family is a family built on Character...you know Steph had the same offers if not more after his Soph season...I have the feeling they are one of those families that will not support a decision of change as long as LU is standing by everything they promised....this was his commitment and we have a commitment to him...we wouldnt drop his scolly if he came up lame with a 2 yr injury

I love how you know everyone on a personal level or speak as if you do. Either your BJ's understudy or you really just think you know everything.

I noticed that in warmups too. Couldn't hit a lick from 3 and just started shooting free throws. It's tough to tell with Seth, because of his natural laid back demeanor, but he looked tired to me as well.

Actually, in his last 4 games of postseason play Seth has had 2 poor outings against VMI and JMU, one good one against G-W (30 points on 9-20 shooting) and a decent game against Rider. Not great, but not as bad as people are making it out to be. There is no doubt however that his shooting % has dropped off in the second half of the season.

That's a huge number for a freshman. That's almost as much as UNCA's freshmen duo of Primm/Dickey combined. Plus, Seth actually scored more than those two combined.

And since someone compared this situation to Flynn at Syracuse, he played 1379 minutes this year but he played two more games than Seth. That would make a difference of less than 30 minutes played.

Another little tidbit, Wayne Ellington was the only guy from Carolina who played more than a thousand minutes this year and he only played 1,021. That is what depth can do for you. They had 8 guys tally more than 600 minuted compared to our 5.

Case in point...

Jonny Flynn has played 1379 minutes this year in 37 games- averages 37.3/game... His EFFORT is still at a very high level- he isn't the only scorer on the Syracuse squad but when the effort isn't even there.. maybe Seth isn't as perfect as you all thought-- maybe Seth just isn't properly motivated to play in this 4th rate post season tournament- maybe instead of complaining about how 2 of VMI's starters were still in the game in the last regular season game- maybe you should ask "Hey!! Why was Seth still playing late in that game that doesn't matter?"- his padded stats don't matter vs the impact that it may have had on his body.. maybe he isn't his Big brother yet regardless of what some of the pundits say..

There are many aspects & I certainly did not see Seth personally last night during warm ups or the game but if your "BEST" player doesn't have the heart or energy to get up for a game, which is what I'm hearing from some who did see him first hand- there are some questions to be asked...

Didn't we also hear Floyd transferred because he didn't like "the seth curry show"? I'm not gonna pretend like I have any inside information or anything but we're speculating on 2nd hand information the we know originated with some freshman that we can safely assume is not associated with the program. What are the odds that this had any credibility? Slim.

On the other hand the schorcho just tweeted this very rumor. He must be friends with the same guy.
