LU-connected Bible student and pro player who should've been but never was. Some hold the opinion that he among others like him would've starred at LU under a Coach McKay.

In early D1 years, LU's top players were literally handed to them via networking---alumni, churches, family, friends, etc. Ironically, program quickly crashed, after taking unnecessary risks on multiple glaring red flag prospects. And, in doing so, seemed to completely forget who we are and how we got here.

Without some sort of conformation, I'm gunna call a Sidd Finch on Penberthy. You are correct on how we landed a lot of our best players early on. Even more so for WBB than MBB.

Penberthy is not fictitious, best player, never to have played here, but should have. But that's the past. Who cares, really? The broader point is that RM prioritizes character. That's a good thing.

Hopefully, Porter plays a key role in our future climb. We gotta start trending upward at some point. Not so sure we hit the bottom jet yet. Maybe we get a bounce here. We'll see.
