Longwood even got fired up by our pep band that kept chanting "LU" which is obviously them, too.

Now that we have established a high degree of enthusiasm and a bit of tradition in football, I wonder what LU fans would do if FB had a year as bad as Longwood is having in BB.A fanbase can be passionate for more than one sport.

Unfortunately, they lost the onions to play the cross town school and cancelled the annual matchup when they went D1.Wow that couldn't be farther from the truth. We played in their gym our first year playing a DI schedule and then Hampden-Sydney cancelled the game. We played them the next year in a late scheduled exhibition game but had to coax them into as a fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina. HSC won't play Longwood, not even in an exhibition any more.
I mean goodness gracious, they only beat Central Penn by 13, they aren't even D3 or NAIA, they are USCAA! Central Penn has a community college on their schedule!Wrong again... USCAA schools are dually accredited with NAIA. Central Penn was (maybe still is) #1 in the country in their particular affiliation.

I do find it funny that you won't even try to refute my statement that H-SC is better than Longwood in basketball.lynchburgwildcats wrote:Longwood isn't even be the best team in Farmville. jbock13 wrote:Remember when wildcats told us nobody cares about Liberty outside of Lynchburg? Then why does this principle not apply for Farmville? I mean I do partly understand, there's nothing else to do over there than argue with people on hereNot entirely true, but not far from it. Luckily I'm not one of those folks that has to have something to do 24/7.
