No problem...it wasn't written very clearly, and the fact that he was disciplined internally does probably put a strike on his record at WU as it is (even if it technically isn't a 'legal matter' strike)..the mention of an arrest in high school is the first I had ever heard of that.

Peele has got to wonder if he can ever catch a break during an offseason. He has this to deal with this year...the drug arrest last year...DeAndre Adams' car accident/death two years before that.

Now I don't care who you are that is funny. KK isn't going to do much of anything.

It was meant as scarcasm.....KK doesn't know whether to scratch his butt or wind his watch.

I'm still eager to see just how badly KK will screw up the unbalanced scheduling in hoops and other sports next year when Campbell comes on board.

Looks like no matter how the legal side of things is resolved, neither Robbie Dreher or Julius Francis are going to play at WU again. Dreher has already decided to transfer...Francis is looking to play elsewhere as well. Neither is listed on the 2011-12 roster which was just posted on the WU website.

Just so you guys know. Kiere is not graduating he will be a Junior this season and he will stick around. Time will tell though as his knee needs to heal. Desmond is gone thank god. We were able to win most of the big south tourney with the roster we will have going in to next year with the addition of our players sidelined early last season deemed academically ineligible, along with the addition of Tyler Poole, who is a 2 sport athlete in Baseball/Basketball and received a good rating by ESPN. Once again i believe we will have a good season hopefully we will be dancing in march.

My picks:

Liberty
CCU
UNC A
High Point
VMI
Presby
Winthrop
Campbell
CSU
GWU
Radford

Cunningham out doesn't keep UNCA from being a top 4 team. CCU stays in contention because of their ridiculous talent. Liberty is the #2 team bringing back everyone important minus Evan but he was replaced by a better JC and T. Speaks = less bad shots + more team chemistry. VMI is scary with Covington and Okoye in the front court + a solid back court. Presby is good if Coleman is healthy and Winthrop lost some key guys but gains players who could make them tough by the end of the season. Don't know much about Campbell and the rest of the teams could end up anywhere but shouldn't acquire more then 10-15 wins combined.

I just saw him walking outside the vines in crutches with something on his right foot. Let's just hope he'll be fine when the season starts.

This year's Big South Tournament will feature all 10 teams in the conference with the addition of an opening round. The tournament will be played Feb. 27 through March 3 and details about the format will be announced soon.

I did a little more digging, and it looks like
Campbell's press release about their schedule for
this year completely outlines the conference
tourney format:

http://www.gocamels.com/sports/mbkb/201 ...
0831stfyf5

It is towards the bottom of the release, but to
sum it up:

Monday, Feb 27 (first round):
#10 @ #7 (they have this backwards in the press
release)
#9 @ #8

Wednesday, Feb 29 (quarterfinals):
All four games hosted by regular season champ

Thursday, Mar 1 (semifinals):
Both games hosted by regular season champ
(and televised on ESPNU)

Saturday, Mar 3 (Finals):
Hosted by highest remaining seed (and televised
by ESPN2)

So now, finishing in the top 4 doesn't earn you a
home game. And hopefully Coastal isn't the regular season champs again. Would hate to see them hosting all of those games in their gym.

Wow, sending quarterfinals to regular season champ seems very excessive in light of the challenges of the past few tourneys. If they were on consecutive days like some of the other leagues then it would make more sense. But now we are essentially sending all but one team on the road away from class for up to a week. I guess this another example of Kyle's brilliance coming into play.
