Pathetic. There is no excuse for that. None whatsoever. We should have won this game.

And Layer seems to have lost control of the ship. Usually he was good about getting the team to respond to a loss. But this team forgot how to lose, and now they're getting a crash course. I'm really worried, this isn't the kind of trend you want at the end of the season. We've lost all the "X" factors that got us to where we are. Minaya has become a non-factor in games, and JVP starts but then never plays again. So we're back to having last year's team, but with JB instead of Ohman.

As I said earlier, with how bad HP plays on the road we MAY (emphasize may) avoid a one and done. But right now we need to take the Presby game and go full throttle. Normally I'd say to sit the starters but this team needs serious help just playing a consistent game and now is not the time to be on this slide.

But with UNCA looming in Conway (I think they'll win the 1st round), we'd better find the answers in a hurry.

On the positive note, we did have a few good streches. We just need to sustain those.

We lost a tight game to Winthrop in Rock Hill. I'm not happy about it, but should we be shocked? Does anyone remember the last time we swept WU?

We outshot them from the floor and outrebounded them. Hard to win when you shoot 10-23 from the line. Not one of Jesse's better games despite scoring 19. 1 assist and 6 turnovers.
