Nice to have the Chancellor on Board. Obviously a great guy.

What a season!!! Sizing up, as one of the best ever, maybe the best!

Multiple ties at 15. Towson did it in 1994 with a 15-3 record. Winthrop did it in 2005 with a 15-1 record. Radford went 15-3 in 2009, and Coastal went 15-3 last year. Winthrop is the only team to go undefeated, 14-0 in 2007 (I know you didn't ask that but they probably would have beat the record that year had there been more games).

That's a subject that hasn't come up yet grm, but if you look at our history, neither of the teams which went to the dance had a particularly impressive regular season, and the teams that did the most in the regular season came up short in the tournament. The 94 team went into the BSC tourney as a 4th seed. The 2004 team only finished over .500 on the year by winning the conference tournament.

To give a realistic hypothetical, if we finish out our remaining 8 games 5-3 and then win the BSC tourney, we go to the dance 24-10. Combine that with the fact that the BSC has easily it's highest RPI ever, and I think you could make a very good argument for this being the best LU team ever.

I think we all know those are some mighty big "ifs", but based on what I've seen so far this year I wouldn't put it past these guys.

Beej is asking what's the most we've ever had. Without looking it up, I think it's 12 back in 2004.

Thanks, SJ.

I had to go to Richmond on business, but I hope to make the final 3 home games. Hopefully more of the locals will make it out next time.

Attendance has been really strong since students have been back from Christmas break. Almost 4k on any given night. If we could get a big game back in the Vines, then I wouldn't be too surprised to see 5-6k packed in there, which would be pretty amazing. If IF we can get an ESPN gig, then I think 5-6k would definitely be attainable.
