I like JVP...he continues to get better each game. The Sanders boys and JB showed up but that was about it. I still think we are a good team and fun to watch but if this game shows one thing it is that we need to continue to upgrade talent. Heart can only get you so far...

Thank God its over. 84-54 It looked good for the first 10 minutes and downhill after that.

What an embarrassment. What happened to the defense? They were shooting such a high percentage because nobody was contesting their shots. There was absolutely NO perimeter defense. It started with a bad lineup about midway through the 1st half and then just continued the rest of the game. Although to be fair, I don't know if in the 2nd half it was actually bad defense or just lack of effort.

I don't understand why McMasters didn't get any meaningful PT. We were down by 30+ in the middle of the 2nd half. Get the guy some time against some decent bigs. Especially when we have guys like Chene (different position I know) filling up the stat sheet with numbers like 14 minutes 0 points 4 fouls. Man, I was so optimistic after a great start. What a kick in the pants.

Props to the student section too. I always mention when the suck so I'll give them credit tonight. A lot showed up, and 1 section was pretty vocal to the end. Not entirely sure why they were wearing black though. I hope they come back.

I noticed the same thing in the first half. They were really, really into it but were wearing black. I'll take students being there and being into it regardless of the color they wear. It doesn't matter what they're wearing if they aren't there.
