Obviously you want to just glow in positives about our performance.

This is easily our worst game of the year so far. Defense looks good but giving up too many open looks. We have had our chances to make this thing respectable but our shots just ain't falling today.

I dont think he wants to "glow" in the positives of the evening but do you seriously think that Coach Layer is gonna sit there and be like "well we just sucked tonight"?

South Florida played really sloppy down the stretch which enabled us to make it a little respectable. I think that the one guy was 5 for 6 from 3 and as a team shot over 40% from 3.

this was rough to watch.....it was great to see the team and see and talk with a couple friends, but aside from that this was rather forgettable...

we are a solid defensive team and I think Vander Pol has a lot of untapped potential...

If we can make wide open shots on a regular basis we would be alright...

Young teams have games like this unfortunately. We took a step back in this game and it was mostly in the mental aspect of the game. No confidence in our shots. We looked hesitant and indecisive in our shooting and interior passing. Jesse missed a couple of wide open jumpers from inside the foul line... We just need to get mentally tougher.

I like what I see in JVP. He has the tools to become a solid big for us. JB had an off game compared to what has done all season. Minaya looked more like last year's version of himself. It was ugly but I think we bounce back strong and win the next 2.

MVSU nearly beat Georgia in Athens this season. They won't play a home game until mid-January. They're not terrible though. And they'll be pointing to Friday's game as possibly the only one they can win in the rest of the calendar year.

Obviously, the school needs money at evidenced by the problems with the football stadium. Check out this schedule:

at Georgia
at Indiana
at Saint Mary's
at BYU
vs. Liberty
vs. Ga. Southern/Chicago State
at Butler
at Ole Miss
at Arkansas
at Kentucky
at Marquette
at Southern Miss
