John Brown being at the front of that zone with his long arms makes it tough on that offense. Then he gets down court fast for a transition layup. TTL David needs to continue to try to create shots. Just because he hasn't hit the pull up consistently yet doesn't mean he should stop making that move. It will fall for him. He is talented and athletic enough that the pull up can be a weapon.

He is talented and athletic. He just can't shoot from range off the dribble. He never has since I've seen him. I like him getting to the basket, and shooting off the catch.

I could be wrong, you know more about ball than I do. I just don't see him getting good shots when he tries to create and shoot from range. And I don't know how that's going to get better, when he's consistently airballing and missing where it's not even close. I love him getting to the rim, he's athletic and big enough to take bumps and get to the rim.

Pretty good 1st half. Joel has played well except for the Free Throws. I like he and Burrus on the floor at the same time. Burrus at the 4 is more of a natural position for him IMO.
