thats what i thought..didn't listen to any of the game and that is all i saw...anyways, glad we got the win and its nice to be playing some lower lever D1 teams to realize we aren't bad..we just aren't very good...if that makes any sense whatsoever

Is Konan wearing Floyd's old number?

Kyle cut his turnovers down tremendously today. That is awesome. If he can keep his turnovers around there, we'll be in much better shape throughout the year. You'd like to see him shoot a little better percentage wise but some things are what they are.

Konan's line is great. He had 16 points in only 29 minutes.

Evan Gordon look like he's coming around and starting to get comfortable. That's really nice to see.

I like Minaya coming off the bench. He seemed to come in and look to do something and make the most of his minutes. Getting 20 minutes, 7 points, 3 assists, and a steal out of a bench player is pretty productive. There will be nights where he contributes more than that too.

Carter's shooting percentage was much better tonight. He should continue to improve as the season goes on.

Johnny's line was a productive line for a reserve guard. A couple steals, a couple points, a couple rebounds, and a turnover. That's not bad at all, especially if it allows us to sit a guy or two for a rest or foul trouble.

Chris looked to be improved as well.

The biggest negative I see from this game is Jeremy, and I really, really hate to say that. I hope it's him just trying to find his shot coming off of injury, but he's shooting 26% on the year and didn't make a shot tonight. We really need him to get to where he's averaging 6-9 points a game.

I know the team we played tonight wasn't that good. So far this year, we haven't been very good either, so it's nice to see the potential of this team and see them beat a team that they should. If we can beat Tennessee State tomorrow, we'll come into the CSU/CCU series in pretty good shape with some confidence.

I don't expect the world out of this team. I just expect to see improvement throughout the season. So far, we've seen that. We just have to keep improving as the season goes on.

This team is growing up quickly. Our 2 leading scorers today are FRESHMEN:

Konan with 16
Gordon with 14

And those two combined shot 10-17 (58.8%).

Wow. You're going for some kind of "I Told You So"/Grudge record. It would be kind of amazing if it weren't so sad and scary.

The only thing sad is how this program has been handled.

What are you talking about? Do you find it that difficult to look at the facts?

Hope the guys get a win tomorrow no matter what time it is.

What do you want? Seriously. Put it out there. Quit beating around the bush. I'm tired of banning you every year only to have you show back up with a new version of your Bitter Grudge Tour. So just tell us what it is you think should have happened after McKay left. What do you think should have happened with the program after last season?
