I noticed at the end of last season that when Kyle got frustrated he started making bad decisions and I think some of that is happening now. I appreciate his passion, but he's got to learn to contain it when things go bad. That last foul that looked like a tackle helps no one.

And really what's one of the few basic things you need from an upperclassman and team leader? You need them to be mentally tough. I think he's showing that he's not.

We missed several point blank shots, as well. I hope this will start dropping during the second half as the jitters should just be about gone.

We've played pretty good defense for being outsized. If you would have told me we'd be getting killed on the outside and Trevor Booker would only have 5 points, I wouldn't have believed you.

This is ugly. just plain and simple. McMasters is the lone bright spot on defense. We need to score. we need to be able to out score teams if we can't play defense. I like the emphasis on defense but we need to be able to score to win games.
