Wasn't Van Der Pol.

Doesnt he have a team mate that's rather good?

Actually, no.

Vander Pol isn't geting much help from his teammates, and isn't really benefitting their gaurd play. He's basically making it happen in spite of all of that.

I'm seriously considering staying home for this one.

Money's tight + bad weather + likely having to go there next week + me having MASN = me tempted to watch it on my couch.

As heated as Liberty coach Ritchie McKay was during the final minutes of the Flames’ blowout loss to VMI Tuesday, he presented an aura of calm afterward.

“It’s just one game,” McKay insisted. “We haven’t played this poorly all year.

There is a school by that name in Starke FL, but a couple of minutes of googling around didn't give me anything on their basketball team.

Olldflame, according to the school's website, they don't even list basketball as a sport at their school:
The school’s sports department currently offers volleyball, flag football, boys and girls soft ball

Yeah, that's obviously not the place. If you're flying from Lynchburg to Florida on US Air, you're gunna have a connection in Charlotte. He probably visited the Liner kid on the way down or back.
