College Park's head coach Cliff McNeely has an entirely different level of respect for HCYA and their 11th grade star, "I am now a huge Caleb Sanders fan. He may be the best basketball player pound per pound in Houston because he can do it all! Plus, he understands the game better than anyone I have seen in a long time in H-Town. Liberty has gotten a steal if they can hang on to him. But, if he does attend Liberty he will be a star in that league and will put Liberty on the map like Stephon Curry has done for Davidson. Can you imagine if he played for Kempner how far they could have gone last year with his brother and the big man."

3rd place
Houston’s John Caleb Sanders scored 46 points but it wasn’t enough.
Devante Moore led El Reno with 26 points.
Sanders broke the tournament scoring record. He had 104 points which broke the old mark of 91 points set by Owsso’s Karlas Gripada in 1982.
