I think his incentive to take the job would be that it would greatly help his resume if he is wanting to get into coaching. He knows his son is for real and he knows if he is on the staff and something amazing happens to us in a few years (like it did to davidson last year) he could be up for a head coach job somewhere.

normally you'd hire a player's dad on staff to get that player signed. I guess we do normally do things a little backwards. We need Nwosu plain and simple. If he's coaching the Nigerian teams already, he's obviously got the experience and he's obviously his own connection for 7 foot Nigerian players.

it was a sad sad joke from a member who thought the board was "dead" that particular day...we deleted it quickly once he told us it was just a joke....hopefully that wont happen again!

yeah, its kinda a dumb thing to argue about, but I would just like it if SuperJon wasn't so rude when he responds to people on here. He never says things like that in person. That's what bugs me so much. We disagreed on something, so obviously I am a moron for having a different opinion than he did. But I'm done arguing on this message board. Anyways, Jon disagreed, and said so. You had two choices.

I did defend my point. My point was there has been much speculation from many people in the media that he would go to the NBA early. If there is so much speculation then why would anyone with "half a brain" think there is absolutely no way he leaves early. I think it is possible.

But Jon is right, it is also very possible that he will stay all four years. There are many benefits for both options. He will have a lot to think about at the end of this season and his decision will likely be based on how well Davidson does this year.

But you are right, I probably should not have responded back in a rude way to Jon. I just don't like being called dumb just because I have a different opinion on something.

And the "several others" know who they are. I'm not trying to start a fight on here or get people to pick sides, I am just saying that there is a better way to respond to someone and disagree with them in a nice way... this is a Christian school right?

there are big words for arguing calling names and stuff. maybe CJ could put them up cause he probably knows them, or maybe SJ can since he needs something to do. i think we learned them in GNED but i wasn't really paying attention? maybe ad hominim or red herring or something along those lines. or we could call them personal attacks, but since that is a bannable offense we shouldn't call it that, otherwise we may lose our biggest poster (number wise and body size haha)

I am bigger than SuperJon, haha. I weigh like 30 pounds more than him so I may be the biggest poster, but definitely not in numbers. But for real, I should have probably just shrugged it off, but I couldn't stand how snarky he was being by saying that anyone who had a different opinion than him is automatically a moron.
