I guess Marshall blew that one-huh?

You may have had an elite-8 or even final-4 team with Curry on board

I'd say no, Davidson didn't win a game in the tourney :)

Sorry Realist, but I think Winthrop goes up a notch with Curry as point gaurd--Gaynor's decent, but he's no Curry

Basically, what you're saying is Stephon : Winthrop :: Seth : VT meaning both would've ended up at the other schools but they were wanting to redshirt them, so they went somewhere else.

”Liberty really offered him a chance to get in right away. They were on him the hardest and he wanted to go somewhere that really wanted him.”

Curry is the son of one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in the history of the NBA. His brother was a freshman all-american player at Davidson last year.
Ritchie McKay and the Liberty Flames have amassed a handful of commitments from the Class of 2007. Recently, the Flames added a guard and big that should assist in laying the foundation for future wins.

Seth Curry, the brother of Davidson star Stephen Curry, has verbally committed to Liberty. The younger Curry averaged 12 points last season at Charlotte Christian.

"He just really liked the coaching staff there and thought he could make an impact early," Charlotte Christian coach Shonn Brown said.

Curry also considered Virginia Tech, William and Mary and Davidson, but the Wildcats received another commitment Wednesday.

If you tune to ESPN now, you will see our future team member's brother playing North Carolina. By the way, Davidson is currently leading 43-40.

If there is any truth to Seth's skills being greater than Stephen's at the same level, Liberty and the Big South are in for a treat. Stephen is more than holding his own right now against the #1 ranked team in the country.

I'd say he's the best player on the court. Did you see him in the NCAA tourney last year??? Wow.

Curry actually hurt Davidson more than helped them tonight. His FG% was low and he was 2-12 from 3. He put up a lot b/c he shot it so much. They needed to get the ball to lovedale more down low and free up Richards.

24 points while shooting 2-12 from arc still isn't too bad, IMO

Curry can play. UNC's D was suffocating towards the end. Several of his shots were forced because the team needed someone to take a shot.

That's a nice write up and somewhat revealing. It looks like Seth's numbers as a Junior may have been affected by the presence of 2 other star guards. it will be interesting to see what he does carrying the load this year.

Glad this kid signed. There is a lot to say for shooter genes. His dad was the real deal, and is now a good tv color commentator.

Here's an interesting article from ESPN. It seems as though Seth shares many similar physical traits with his older brother, Steph. Also, the big schools overlooked both players and seem to have very comparable evaluations of the brothers in terms of stature and ability.

Nice article! If Seth is anything like Stephon, he is going to be something special for LU.
