kazport wrote:Maybe you could post something about BASKETBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Basketball is a game played on a hardwood court using two goals comprised of backboards and hoops.
SCAR wrote:Trust me, I will be in much better shape this year. And I will actually have touched a ball within 6 months of the game itself. Gotta make up for that performance. Great to see all of my flames hoops brothers though. Good times. I don't expect to look as "pudgy" either.I hear ya.. I just got back from playing in LaHaye and I had circles run around me. I was doing well by getting to the gym everyday for awhile--work catches up to you quick, though.

I know that caps means you are yelling I was told that on my first post.If you were told that on your first post, then you have no excuse. You should have known. It's common courtesy on every message board on the Internet that you don't type in all caps. If you can't be courteous, you'll be the one that has to get over it. The caps lock key is there to help some data entry people do their jobs, not for you to be lazy.
thepostman wrote:all caps is annoying but holy crap guys calm down....its not the end of the world....I'm calm. All I did was make a point (since someone had already pointed out the same thing to him once before) that it's not polite to use all caps. He's the one who got upset. If I didn't point out things like that, I wouldn't be very much of an admin.
thepostman wrote:you were trying to get a rise out of the kid scorcho....i know your tricks...but it wasn't only you....i don't really feel bad for the kid because you are right he got all mad too....maybe i am just in a better mood these days and don't see the reason to get upset at much of anything...This will pass quickly, the honeymoon and other things will end soon. Pretty soon, you will have to beg to come to the games.
thepostman wrote:all caps is annoying but holy crap guys calm down....its not the end of the world....Thank you. I was not trying to take up everyones time with this. But, evidently there are some people that just look to find something to complain about instead of staying on the topic.
thepostman wrote:you were trying to get a rise out of the kid scorcho....i know your tricks. What tricks are those? I was honestly unaware that I had any tricks.
It was his second time doing it.Three strikes and you're out? Scorcho, should the Admins bans folks for repeatedly typing in all caps?
El Scorcho wrote:So I am 2 for 26. How old are you? Wow this is really something. I wish you spent more time with some good information on Libertys Basketball team and maybe the upcoming season etc.thepostman wrote:you were trying to get a rise out of the kid scorcho....i know your tricks. What tricks are those? I wasn't trying to get a rise out of him, I was trying to get him to stop posting in all caps. It was his second time doing it. If I just let it go, it would continue. I'm sure you guys think I'm just being crabby, but someone has to point this stuff out. That's why we have admins and moderators.
As for staying on topic: Since when has that ever happened on FlameFans.com?
SCAR wrote:Here is something that is missing in most constructive criticism. The person being constructed never says "you are right. I won't do it again." If that is said from the start, then things don't drag on. This is a general observation about people but no one seems to like to be corrected for ANYTHING. When people pronounce words wrong, I instinctively correct them and then I get nothing but attitude from those people. I just don't like to hear people being laughed at for saying things wrong so I nip it in the bud but instead of thanking me for the help, I get attitude. I think Scorcho is within his rights and duty to point out the Caps issue and not be made out to be a bad guy. Just doing his job and actually looking out for a poster who may be unaware that he is in fact making a major message board error. MY TWO CENTSI really really was going to let this issue go away. I posted 26 times and twice was in caps. If he were truly an administrator he would have just said "please don't type in caps it is not proper or what ever. To try and make a mockery out of someone and continue posting remarks is just plain immature. I have not typed in caps since. As far as criticism I work for 42 attorneys on a daily basis. I would not be at this job if I could not take constructive criticism So before I ever make another post I will spell check, check the caps lock, have it proof read, and then send a final draft for your approval. Wow I thought I was going to learn something from the experts about Liberty Basketball.

I chose to do that by replying the same way you did rather than dryly reminding you a second time like folks in the other thread did the first time.
I hate you Merry Christmas :D  May[…]
