There was a significant surge in application interest from the day after the funeral and the week following. It has been speculated that the positive CBN coverage of the funeral was at least partially responisible for the elevated curiousity. I think that it would be safe to assume that within a short three week time frame, the majoity of those applications have not been submitted, let alone processed yet. Needless to say, I'm not convinced that the numbers are down, but if they are, then that would certainly open the door for a good number of qualified students who otherwise would have had to wait until '08.

The larger concerns are still the increased housing needs and our urgent need to add suitable falculty members in proportion to our growing student population.

One thing you will begin to see over the next year are larger sections of introductory level classes, as well as those courses which satisfy the left side of the status sheet. So, instead of a professor teaching two sections of 30 students (that are closed and cannot grow due to classroom space) you may see them in a larger lecture hall (such as those under construction in N Campus), teaching one section of 80.

Economies of scale. I am thankful I teach mid and upper level courses.

Just so you guys know, Bob claims he didn't make this post. He lost his password and all of that, so someone may have gotten into it.

He should be able to change his password if he forgot it. If the forgotten password feature is not working, then I need to know.

I thought I read over on the Coastal board that he does post here but that's not the name that he goes by. Which would make this one an imposter.

Is there a limit placed on how many students you (LU-administration) will allow LU enroll? Has LU tried recruiting much from the homeschool kid sphere? There are some pretty good athletes out there who are playing on homeschool association teams.

This site is not run by the LU admin, or by LU. If you are talking about general student enrollment, we can only enroll as many people as we have dorms for. Other than that, no. Dr. Falwell always dreamed of us having 25,000 students on campus.

We have a homeschooler on our current basketball roster.

so why are you using a CCU fan's user name? Do you just happen to have a similar name?

I dont know where your info came from, but as far as enrollment the numbers are up for next year. I'll try to obtain and post the exact numbers if you'd like but just thought I'd share.
