I apologize for that. That doesn't reflect well on us and I'm as peeved about it as you are.

Certainly "conduct unbecoming a cadet" that would get him some big trouble if you cared to report it to our administration.

We usually win the sportsmanship trophies, so hopefully, that's an anomoly.

It happens, no sweat Mo...I wish some of you could have seen the Radford games back in the day or better yet Lynchburg College students being wasted and throwing banana peels at our goal keeper (he was African)

Personally, I think the shirts are gauche, but not because of the words. Just a poor reflection on our uniforms and traditions.

I expect that time of stuff when we go over there. I was also told I was "f-ing fat" too but I laughed. I love going to VMI.

Personally, I don't mind the drunks cussing at me b/c they're at least likely to come up with something original even if it makes no sense. The whole "Jerry's Kids" thing went stale sometime around 1972. The lamest taunt I've ever heard though was at Towson this past fall. The whole student section (all 40 of them) got up and started chanting "You guys are virgins!"

I'll take a drunken rambling potty-mouthed Keydet over that any day.

Btw, I told Jason Allison and Duggar Baucom that they would beat HPU because they tend to implode in big games with Bart Lundy. From what I hear, that is what happened. Same as 2 seasons ago when Liberty lost to 7th seed CSU then they went out and beat HPU at the Millis Center.

That is pretty original...
...must give them points for that one. Even though they have absolutely no idea what goes on around here.

They also chanted "Evolution" "R-rated Movies" and "Seminary Rejcts." The first one was funny.

But the best part--in the stands--was Super's tallying of VMI's missed 3 pointers: he'd mark one and then turn around and show it to the LU faithful sitting behind him. That's the best use of a Sharpie marker that I've seen in years!

I had a different version of the sign in the game Tuesday and kept track, but they played different so it wasn't that big of a deal.

The Keydets, however, stopped being cute when they upended No. 3 seed Liberty and second-seeded High Point earlier this week, earning them a national TV spot in the title game. And to everyone's surprise, VMI came out slow and steady against Liberty, shocking the Flames (who had already beaten the Keydets 122-117 and 118-108) in a relatively plodding 79-78 upset, one that caused chancellor Jerry Falwell to pull the plug on head coach Randy Dutton's tenure. The relative restraint continued in the 91-81 semifinal win over High Point, which also had swept the Keydets in the regular season.

Not sure where to post this but this was from an preview of the BSC Cahmpionship game

" one that caused chancellor Jerry Falwell to pull the plug on head coach Randy Dutton's tenure. "

Does anyone here really believe that? I mean, I'm sure it was a factor, but come on... .

No - well with the exception of espn. 77-102 had nothing to do with it.
