Honestly if we show up to play three games in a row we got a shot at the tourneys. Its just a matter of being ready to play, and making buckets. Right now he have two tales of this club, and if we see the not so good one its gonna look really bad tomorrow, but we can beat every team in the conference (WU on a really freaking good day) its just a matter of showing up.

Let's not accept for granted that LU is dying to face you guys. There will not be any pushovers in this tournament, and I know that LU's coaches have plenty of respect for you guys.

Oh, I was just looking at it clinically; no offense taken. We're young, thin, and tired, but our style of play could take a lot out of any team on a given night.

I am not concerned with VMI, only the energy were gonna lose going into Thursday

By no means, do I WANT to play VMI. Yes, the system could wear us out if we were to win for Thursday, but you worry about that when you get there. Between Asheville, and VMI I'm not sure who I would want to play. I think we match up better with VMI, but it is so hard to beat a team 3 times. Shall be interesting. Go Flames.

Is anybody else worried because we are facing the BSC's "Defensive Player of the Year" I did not see any games this year, but can somebody explain how a player from the worst defensive team in the nation wins the conference Defensive Player award?

I believe he's either at the very top, of the top-10, in the country for steals per game.

I am sorry, I just do not believe that steals equates into a great defensive player. Especially in their system, it leads to a lot of opponent turnovers. To me defensive player of the year is somebody that can take a LB or AZ and hold them to 10-12 points. Somebody that as an offensive player, you do not want him guarding you.
I know that it is a very subjective award, but do not simply look at steals and say DPOY.

Steals are a huge part of the defensive side, however, most games are not being dictated toward the up-tempo style, which VMI has embraced.

Stats only tell part of the story and if they are not interpreted correctly, then they are a total farce.
