I'm really upset about the Dennis Carter thing. At least they they should have Scar on the sideline to explain to basketball novice' like me about what's really going on with LU BBall or even give him the halftime show. Barber has made a lot of good choices so far but this one is just bad. Next they will be telling Jerry Edwards to take the Big South tourney off because we have some chump from a radio station in Roanoke that wants to try a game or two.

Brand identity is more than coming up with some logo. It starts developing personalities the fans can identify with and look forward to watching. If they have a celebrity (if you can call it that) bring him in as the third guy for a game or two. This has smallville written all over it.

Is there anyone out there with more familiarity than me Sly? Not trying to toot my own horn here but it is true. It's not like I am not available or something. I can't answer the question as to why Dennis is in the mix for Men's hoops but it is what it is. If my feelings were under consideration at all, I think they would just work a 3 man crew for those games they feel they need Dennis. It would actually make the game seem more important. Or they could use me as a sideline reporter.

dennis is not a good sports broadcaster. He has broadcasted women's basketball and he is bad enough as it is. He would only make things worse if he broadcasts men's basketball
