They've been playing a lot of bad basketball lately in the first half.

You're right though, a lot of one on one basketball.

Dreadful first half. Mcghee unloaded a ton of bad looks and that one to end the half was right there at the top. This terrible 1st half trend will get us one night. Maybe today.

You're right. McKay has to figure out a way to get this team to play in the first half.

Got to give Jacksonville credit. Both games now they have come in with a great gameplan. I wouldn't want to play them in the conference championship tournament.

The analyst is just dreadful. Every time i think you cant find worse in the big south or asun another one pops up to take the mantle. Bacon is a scrub too but compared to her hes a pro.

Just a brutal performance from liberty. Total egg.

Welp no ball movement. They are not feeding Scottie, If they did he would either go one on one or they would be doubling leaving some one open. Instead we want to try and drive against the league leader in blocks.

This team certainly has fight. You know this program has turned the corner when we win a game like this. Not too long ago we would've given up and lost a game like this.

Although this is a win, this is a wake up call for the Lipscomb game. That game, as we all know, will be a toughie. Did Lipscomb play this weekend?

When LU was down 10, the win probability was down to 12 percent. Nice unexpected turnaround. Hope we don't make getting behind early a habit but happy with the W.

Well, it's Jacksonville's radio crew, so that's to be expected. There isn't a university radio crew out there that isn't super homerish. I wouldn't expect anything different.

Scott Bacon used to work at Longwood and was voice of the Hillcats for several years. Was nice to hear his voice again.

Bacon is better than most of the others. The analyst whatever her name was was just awful. No insight and complete homer.

As for the game. Thats a big win. Every team has that team that can give them fits even if not as talented. Jacksonville was a tough matchup for us both times and we responded with a 10 pt road win. We also need to find who the 5 or 6 guys that are going to play at the end of tight games are. We took a step toward that today.

It took until the very end to wake up. Not the best performance overall, but won when they needed to. Can’t continue to keep playing like this or else it’s going to bite the team at the wrong time (We are kidding ourselves if we think this team can afford to not win the A-Sun tournament and will get an at-large).

On the commentary team: Scott Bacon is a true professional and solid. Bias should be limited as much as possible, but you won’t find the crew in the back of the studio reprimanding the broadcast crew for getting excited for the home team, and you shouldn’t.

Once again this team defies #typicalliberty history and finds a way to win (pulling away) after being down 10 in the second half of a CLASSIC trap game. # BEAT LIPSCOMB!!!
