In McKay (and Dawson) we trust!

This is a fact!

I trust McKay. That trust is based on a pretty extensive body of work. I hear John Dawson is very good, but come on guys, ease up a little. It´s like we´re the Jews looking for our Messiah. Dawson really hasn´t played very much competitive basketball since HS, and he will only make us better if the TEAM is able to utilize his talents as part of an enhanced whole. Hopefully they will.

Gielo was in the lineup for Delaware, which had a roster in flux and was missing one of its best remaining players.

Furman was terrible all season before catching fire in the SoCon tourney.

Ritchie has had only one home game against a DI team so far, and that was against a team that beat an ACC team on the road by 20.

Don't think the situations are comparable.

+1. My expectations with this team is 0 division 1 wins. This is going to take time and the improvement that you will see this season won't be in the form of a win/loss record. Frankly, I'm just pleased to watch a team actually warm up for a game instead of having a pregame dunk contest.

Agreed...this is a complete rebuild from the ground up that will take quite some time much like the rebuild of the WTC after 9/11 (pardon the analogy but its the closest I could come up with in the moment). There will be highs, and there will be lows, but if we trust the process, and the time it will take, hopefully we will have a product that when we look back on it in a few years, will make us all beam with pride at where we are and where we came from to get there.

I understand what you are saying in that we are thin on talent right now, but disagree that if Dawson is our best player it is ¨not saying much¨. I think Maxwell has established pretty well that he is a very good player at our level.
